butt cold.
It’s 5 degrees outside right now. Granted, it’s 3am in Rexburg, but there were rumors that it was it was -21 degrees this morning, and the high today (or yesterday, technically) was 11 degrees. When I was home I debated whether or not Oregon cold was colder than Rexburg, Idaho cold… but it’s not. It’s definitly, definitly not.
In other news, I was swindled by a fast talking Indian from an online tech store where I bought this:
Canon PowerShot SX10
They threw in a bunch of “free” stuff, but I felt nauscious after I ended the phone call. I’ll fix it though. I’m really excited about this camera, All the consumer ratings say it’s pretty radical, especially for being a point & shoot. I compared it to other cameras of its caliber and this one is all around better. AND I found it for $150 less than everyone else’s average price. The trade off was that damn manipulating upselling call-back.
Personally I think a good camera is a good investment. The camera I have now I’ve had for over 5 years and it’s been pretty good. Especially studying to have a career in graphics $250 + an extended warrenty for a camera that will last me the next 3+ years is worth it.
